WHY IS AMAZON A+ CONTENT IMPORTANT?
One of the biggest metrics Amazon uses to determine whether your product is a hit or a dud is conversion rate. If your conversion rate sucks, that means people look at your listing & aren’t buying… & Amazon doesn’t like it. Their algorithm determines your listing a “DUD” & sends less traffic to your listing, & less sales.
The opposite is also true.
If your conversion rate kicks ass, Amazon’s algorithm says “Hey this thing is hot!” & throws more traffic your way. Well done Amazon APlus Content commonly increases conversion rates by 5 to 10%. If you were making 300 sales per month at a 10% conversion rate, that would mean a boost to 450 or 600 units per month!
Is Amazon EBC Content the same as Amazon A Plus Content?
It’s essentially the same thing but with slightly different modules, and there are not longer pre made templates, you must manually choose your own module layout.
A+ Content was previously available only to Vendor Central accounts (for brands that sold wholesale directly to Amazon) but they decided to replace EBC in all seller accounts with A+ Content.
What Does Amazon A+ Content Cost?
Amazon does not charge sellers to use A+ Content. Kenji ROI offers 2 different A+ Content packages which you can see in the pricing table below. One option includes product photography while the other uses existing photos and we produce just the graphics & copywriting.
Can All Amazon Sellers Use A+ Content?
No, only brand registered brands can use it. To become Amazon Brand Registered, your brand must have a registered trademark, then you can apply for it here.
Amazon A+ Content Best Practices
- If you’re looking for Amazon A+ Content dimensions, check out our FULL guide to A+ Content (EBC) here.
- It’s against terms of service to use the same images in your main images & A+ Content, and may stop yours from getting approved. Use unique images for Amazon EBC (A+) and your main images.
- Use graphic elements on every image to better showcase your brand feel. Cheaper low budget brands simply upload stock images and skimp on the branding so it’s an opportunity to portray your brand as premium.

Product Photography FAQs
The Platinum and Gold photo packages are nearly identical with one major difference… Platinum includes a real lifestyle model and Gold uses “photo manipulation lifestyle images” which are reverse engineered stock images with your product composited in.
Only the Platinum Photo Package comes with a real lifestyle model. The Gold Photo Package uses “Photo Manipulation Lifestyle Images” (see explanation above). The Silver Photo Package does not come with any lifestyle images.
Not your typical stock images everyone hates on. We select premium quality stock images, then take real images of your product that match the lighting & angle of the premium stock image.
The way we present your product comes from a lot of research and 5+ years of Amazon experience. That said, we’re still human and sometimes make mistakes. So for any factual errors, (e.g. we put in the wrong measurements or missed a specific request from your intake form) we make those changes free-of-charge.
However, for all other preferential changes ranging from graphic style to stock image swaps, we charge a revision fee per image of $25 AFTER the (1st round: Gold & Silver packages / 3 rounds: Platinum package) of changes.
And any requests requiring a re-shoot is subject to additional photography, model, or location fees on an as needed basis.
We ask that by working with Kenji ROI you trust our expertise in Amazon listing optimization, and understand that in order to deliver a high standard at a reasonable price we need to limit revisions. The main image takes up the first image slot and is what customers see on the search results, Amazon Ads, and is the #1 factor affecting “Click Through Rate.” We offer multiple main images in the Platinum & Gold packages so you can “Split Test” aka “A/B Test” them against each other to find the one with the highest click through rate, bringing potentially massive gains in traffic to your product. It’s the single most effective optimization you can make to a top performing product. We recommend using Splitly to assist in this.

While we don’t present you with options to choose from and approve the exact models for the shoot, we do let you specify the model’s

The reasons we don’t offer selection and approval of models are:
- We are not a modelling agency, and contracting one costs minimum $500 so we would have to increase our prices significantly
- Since we don’t pay our models the much higher modeling agency rates, we can’t guarantee a specific model at the specific time we need to shoot without causing large delays. Our clients vastly prefer to have less delays and the lower costs, and they still have input into the type of model they would like.

No, we provide you with a Google Doc of all text copywriting & keywords with visual instructions of exactly where to copy & paste it in Seller Central.
It’s a cleaned up version of the keyword research we used to write the listing from 5 different sources. It can be used to aid with your PPC campaigns & give insight into what keywords you should monitor.
Top 5 most common customer dislikes, Top 5 most common customer questions, & Insightful phrases taken from customer reviews. This is all ranked in order of how often they came up during our research before writing the listing.
Helium 10 Magnet 2.0 & Cerebro, Viral Launch Keyword Research, Seller Labs Scope, & SONAR. We cross check data with them all to make all keyword decisions.
AKA the backend keywords, we fill the entire 250 characters (bytes) with individual keywords that have not been placed in the listing anywhere else to fit in relevant but less important keywords.
We fill all 5 fields 50 characters each with the top search phrases in exact phrase order. Subject matter is the 2nd most powerful field to put keywords in (after the title) so repeating the top keywords here is key.

A+ Content (EBC) FAQs
When you get it together with any of our photo packages, we take the extra 7-9 images needed for your A+ Content EBC at no additional charge. This is because we already incur the expense of setting up the photo shoot and pass the savings on to you. So even if you are waiting for Amazon Brand Registry, many Sellers opt to have us do their A+ Content now.
Yes, this the recommended way to do it. We feature all or most product variations in 1 single A+ description so it can be used for all variations.
No, you will have to provide us with the photos. We do everything else.

Graphic Design: For graphic design photos included in A+ of the Fullstack photosets, we include 1 full round of revisions after delivery. Anything further will be charged at an additional hourly rate.
Yes, each & every brand must be Brand Registered to use A+, even if sold on the same account as brands that are registered. A registered trademark is required before applying with Amazon.
Pretty much. EBC (Enhanced Brand Content) is the original version of A+ Content. Technically, Amazon discontinued EBC & replaced it with the very similar A+ Content tool that was already available to Vendor Central users. Both Seller Central (most sellers) and Vendor Central users now both use A+ Content, but many Amazon Sellers still refer to it as EBC.

Video Retakes: Any video retake requests or new shot requests that were not outlined in your filled out intake form (sent immediately upon order) are not be included in the initial fee. We recommend being as thorough and specific as possible when filling out your form if you have specific shots/ vision in mind. Otherwise, our experts will craft the video based on their own research & provided info, & you are trusting our expertise in crafting the video.
Edits: For small, fast edits, we include 1 round of revision requests, but they must not require a re-shoot of additional video footage.
All sellers can now upload videos to the final main image slot at the top of your listing through the upload video tab (previously only available to Brand Registered sellers).
You can upload your video to the “Related Video Shorts” section between the description & reviews. This placement is not quite as good, but still typically gives a small conversion boost, & all our videos can of course be uploaded as Facebook Ads, YouTube videos, etc.
The Premium video is of higher production value and takes much longer to shoot and produce. See in the example above how we have multiple models, a premium shoot location in an MMA gym, and many cuts that require a much larger amount of footage to create.
Premium Lifestyle/ Brand videos are great to showcase your entire product line in one video so you can use the same video on all your products, or to really blow the competition away with Hollywood level production quality.
